Tough competition in trampolining at SSTO

The Trampoline Club has recently competed at Scottish Student Trampoline Open in Glasgow. 400 students from 21 universities competed against each other at different levels in trampolining, synchronised trampolining and double-mini trampoline. The highest individual trampolining score was 58.6 which obtained by a student from Edinburgh University. Unfortunately, our head coach was injured at the time and could not challenge the winner ;). It is great to see SSTO maintaining its popularity and such high levels of demonstrated skills. Despite not winning any medals, several of our club’s members did extremely well. All results can be found at https://tramponline.org/score/results_overview.php. The summary of the best 5 results for UCC Trampoline Club is given below:

Special congratulations to Adam and Janine who competed trampolining for the very first time. Previous artistic gymnastics’ experience proved to be valuable! The weekend was filled with fun atmosphere and student sport at the highest level. It is great to be a part of such an active community. Congratulations to the organisers and see you next year, we promise to perform even better!

In less than a month we will compete again at Irish Student Trampoline Open in Belfast. This is the largest student trampoline competition in the world and we are very excited!
